Worcestershire archive & archaeology

Worcestershire Archive & Archaeology carries out a wide range of learning and outreach activities. Participants range from 5 year old children though to retired people, both formal and informal learners, academics and those who had previously never heard of archives or archaeology. Activities include:

  • local history research groups
  • talks
  • workshops
  • tours
  • school activities
  • community excavations
  • archive film screenings
  • family history fairs
  • guided walks
  • geology trail

The events are fun and enjoyable as well as providing an opportunity to find out something new. Historical documents and artefacts are often used with groups to inspire them, help them to learn new skills, and can form the basis of exciting community projects. If you would like us to work with you on a project we would love to discuss it with you.
