Coronavirus information (19 July)

Public Library

In line with government guidance, we are lifting restrictions in libraries.

We are no longer limiting customer numbers and have reinstated seating areas.

Customers no longer have to pre-book computers or desk spaces as these will be available on demand.

To promote a safe environment for staff and customers, good ventilation of all public areas (including meeting rooms for hire) will be maintained and while no longer mandatory, the continued use of face coverings will be encouraged, along with hand hygiene and surface cleaning.

Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service

Archive services are now fully open.

Customers no longer need to pre-book archive search room spaces, archive self-service access or Historic Environment Records appointments.

Any pre-booked visits will be honoured with a reserved seat in our searchroom. The booking system will cease from the end of July.

We encourage all visitors to continue to wear a face covering and to respect the space of staff and other customers.

Revised opening hours may still be in operation and we will continue to respond to online enquires as usual so if you have any queries or questions please contact us via the Explore the past website.
