The Hive is buzzing this half term

For those looking to entertain the kids outside the house this half term then look no further than The Hive in Worcester.

Each day the best bits of children's books will be read by the talented librarian team at The Hive. Gathered in the Children's Library the team will have children lost in a world of make-believe and imagination.

On Thursday 31 May there is a Canal and River Activity Day from 11am 3pm where children are encouraged to drop in and take on the challenge of building a bridge and keeping a boat afloat. Join in a treasure trail around the library, crafts and activities for all the family.

Later that day, for those with a digital eye, there is a coding activity from 12pm 1pm where children between 9 and 13 years old will be introduced to the fascinating word of computer coding.

Seeing out the half term week is a production of Pinocchio, presented by Clive Chandler and His Puppets. Come and watch the story of a puppet boy who struggles through difficulties to do 'the right thing' in a fast moving and funny production. This is a delightful family treat that is sure to leave the whole family smiling.

Laura Worsfold, Business Development Manager at The Hive, said: "As you can see we have plenty to do here at The Hive alongside all of the regular activities and special events. The Hive is always abuzz with activities for all ages so come down and see what we have. We just re-launched our wonderful café, now with a wider selection of healthy dining as well as being a great place to get a coffee, a book and sit back."
