The Mad Science Team Returns to The Hive

Following on from the success of last year, the Mad Science team are back with their zany activities for this year’s Science Night at The Hive on Thursday 16 March.

This hands-on event gives families the opportunity to meet the experts and learn about science in a fun and interactive way.

Janine Downes, Library Manager at The Hive, said: “Science is such a captivating topic covering everything from fossils to rockets; it is easy to understand why our previous Science Night gripped everyone's attention and was such a success.

“The Mad Science team certainly capture people’s imaginations and create an innovative way of learning. This event is fantastic at bringing science to life and making it fun.”

The Mad Science team are running three workshops on the evening to reveal the science behind how planes can fly.

The ‘Up, Up and Away’ workshops are at 4.30pm, 5.15pm and 6pm and cost £3.50 for adults and £3 for children.

This fascinating evening coincides with Worcester’s first ever Micro Science Festival as part of British Science Week, 10 – 19 March.
