Join The Hive Celebration for its Harry Potter Book Night

Fans of the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter will be delighted to discover that The Hive is hosting its third Harry Potter Book Night on Thursday 2 February at 4.30pm.

Fantastic fanatics young, old and in between can expect a fun evening of wand designing, Quidditch coaching and potion making.

All of the activities at the event are free, but if you are looking to defend yourself against the dark arts or get to grips with herbology you may want to attend the Mad Muggles Workshop. Suitable for children 5 to 12 years of age, this class costs £3.75 per child and has two time slots at 4.30pm and 5.15pm.

Wear your robe, wrap up in your Hogwarts House scarf and come to what promises to be a magical event.

Janine Downes, Library Manager at The Hive, said: “For the past two years the Hive Harry Potter Book Night has been a huge success. All the staff and visitors have a brilliant time dressing up and trying their hand at Hogwarts classes.

“It’s as much fun for the adults as it is for the children. We always receive so many wonderful comments after the event that we decided we had to make it an annual occasion that people can look forward to in the New Year.”
